Friday September 10th, 2021 – Yoga & Hammam at The Eressian Hotel & Hammam Spa:

8:00am – 9:45am:
Mindful Flow Yoga & Hammam Session
Experience an active yoga practice exploring movement and breath at a moderate pace and allow your body to relax into the warmth of the Traditional Warm Hammam Area afterwards.
Mindful Flow Yoga combines short vinyasa sequences, practiced with awareness and focusing on transitions, and more static hatha yoga elements with longer holds. While offering detailed queues throughout the practice, it actively encourages and supports proprioception and the notion, that each practitioner can determine what works best for their body. After yoga, the Traditional Warm Hammam Area provides the perfect setting to release tension and allow the body to incorporate triggers and recalibrate after active movement in silence.
In the Self-Service Hammam Session access our Traditional Hammam area to discover the relaxing effects of heat & water. Use the ketsea and soap we offer for your personal bath while you unwind and your body revitalizes.

Soft & Slow Yoga & Hammam Session
Experience an active yet gentle practice, that offers both new and advanced practitioners the space to explore movement and breath at a slow pace and allow your body to relax into the warmth of the Traditional Warm Hammam Area afterwards.  
Soft & Slow Yoga combines short vinyasa sequences and mobilisation, practiced slowly and focusing on transitions. While offering detailed queues throughout the practice, it actively encourages and supports proprioception and the notion, that each practitioner can determine what works best for their body.After yoga, the Traditional Warm Hammam Area provides the perfect setting to release tension and allow the body to incorporate triggers and recalibrate after active movement in silence.

6:00pm – 7:45pm:
Sunset Meditation & Hammam Session
On the beautiful outside terrace, overlooking the mountains and valley of Eressos, we will practice a calm yet active mediation while nature is quietening down. We will then move deeper into silence in the Traditional Warm Hammam Area.
Meditation can be a simple and powerful tool to find the way back to our centre and help us maintain our focus and energy in our daily lives. While ideally everything in life can become a meditation, it does need some practice and patience to slowly become more aware and mindful in our lives. We will practice a calm yet active mediation technique following the structure of move – release – observe as a means of entering a state of meditation. You will then take the silence into the Traditional Warm Hammam Area allowing for the state of meditation to expand into the protected space.

7:00pm – 8:45pm
Yin Yoga & Hammam Session
Experience a gentle and passive practice, that uses gravity and time to help you let go and release at a deeper level and allow your body to relax into the warmth of the Traditional Warm Hammam Area afterwards. 
Yin Yoga stands for a very gentle, passive practice, as opposed to movement-oriented vigorous yang styles of yoga. It is intended to support stretching of the body’s connective tissue, particularly around the joints, and allow for a build-up of receiving, feminine energy. Yin yoga is a slow practice of fewer poses that are held over several minutes, allowing you to enter deep yet gentle stretches by relaxing your muscles and letting gravity do the work for you. After the cooling yin yoga practice, the Traditional Warm Hammam Area will help you enter a state of deeper relaxation and silence.
